Why I Watch What I Watch, 2006

I only got Bittorrent to work for me in June, so I can’t really evaluate anime that aired before the start of fall season, so shows such as Ouran High School Host Club, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, and Zero no Tsukaima aren’t noted below.

…Yes, this post is sort of an excuse for me to try out my new tablet. ^^;;

I haven’t felt this much anticipation for the next week’s episode of an anime since Digimon over six years ago, mainly because of its continuous plot. Most of the characters’ lives are trainwrecks, and for those whose are not, are driven into wrecks by the indirect actions of the former. It’s almost as if CLAMP went into the characters’ profile development, too, except not, and if CLAMP actually worked on the show beyond character designs, the mecha battles wouldn’t be half as cool.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone! This is an American holiday that I’ve assimilated to only the commercial aspect thereof and I can certainly see the joy in all of the buying and selling. ^o^

Anyways, the good news is that my father has agreed to purchase a 6X8 version of Wacom Graphire4 tablet for me instead of the 4X5, which I found to look pathetic in its box. The bad news is that Amazon.com is currently sold out of them.

Halloween Photo Shoot (Part 1)

“Halloween! The day that connects the end of summer with the beginning of winter!” as Renge-sama would say. I’m sure that she temporarily forgot about the season known as autumn/fall that comes between summer and winter when she said that.

So yes, today is October 31st, the day of Halloween, the day when cosplayer can break out and still look cool, except for that guy down my hall who’s going as Sailor Moon. He has a chance at becoming as infamous as Sailor Bubba and nabbing the school costume contest prize, with some rivalry from that half-naked gladiator dude and resident Final Fantasy Lulu. Other characters on my floor include an angel, a gypsy, a goth, Jack Skellington, and Megatokyo Miho.

I am dressing up as someone nowhere near as recognizable. And I’m also going as God.
My costume consists of a Suzumiya Haruhi hair band, an actual school uniform, and shoes that appeared in a manga chapter of Hikaru no Go on Akira Toya.

And Now for Something Completely Random

In the past two days, I’ve been suffering from random gingival hemorrhage and causing my roommate to freak out at the sight of blood dripping onto my hands and tissue papers. Am I getting periodontitis or something like that? Ahahah. I blame it all on the college finals.
