Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Ending

I’ve been forced into picking up book #7 of Harry Potter for my brother, because he is out of country when the release happens. I’m not a massive HP fan like I’ve seen some folks devolve to and I’m terribly irked by the end-of-the-world outlook of the hysteria known as THOU-MUST-NOT-SPOIL-THE-END. I don’t care much about book endings; it’s the journey that matters. Some of the fanfiction spoilers that I’ve read are pretty illogical and horrible from a literary perspective. Stories must follow a definite format to produce the maximum character development and drama without destroying the plot.

I’m sure that the fanaticism will die down in a week. My policy on spoilers is a simple comment; people need to know how to control themselves. It just might turn out to be pure fanfiction anyways, but an archive is always nice.
