About 80% done. I still need to add buttons to the dress and make the whole thing **smaller**. It’s incredibly big on me, though the right length. I modified a jacket pattern to make the dress. o.O
I was forced into making the capelet border blue, but there’s no way I can pull off cosplaying Mai or Sayuri simply because I’m not tall enough. I’m not sure what to call myself when people run into me at the Anime Boston convention… Ugh.

“Generic Classmate B”
But seriously the design of Kanon’s school uniform always screams “Easy access–ergo eroge” to me

Well, given that the whole point of the game was to ‘land’ a girl… I’m not surprised. And I’d use ‘Generic Kanon schoolgirl’ or similar, as far as descriptions go - just like people who play SEED or SEED DEstiny crewers are ‘generic Gundam SEED Earth Alliance/Orb/ZAFT’ people.

Hey, I loved the Kanon school uniforms. They were so cool. Although they would be cold in the winter.

Too bad the snow is melting here… I would’ve loved to do a ‘Sad Girl in Snow’ photoshoot. Maybe next year? Then again, I plan to retire the costume by the end of this year… If anyone wants it, stake your claim and best offer now. XD I am 155cm (5′1″) tall in the photo and the dress will fit a normal person (I’m too skinny for my own health). The red dress is made from 100% cotton stretch twill and the capelet and sleeve cuffs are made from alpine fleece. Yeah, I made this dress with the cold weather in mind, so I selected the thickest stuff I could get without going into wool, which is too expensive.
