Christmas List

The season of happy holidays is upon us, and like any other good assimilated American, I must join in on the Christmas gift-grabbing frenzy. Everything else doesn’t matter. There isn’t a single holiday decoration up in my house. No tree, no light, no candlestick. Enough money is being spent on presents for Christmas already, which my parents has adopted as best as they can as “kids demand presents from adults, but no lucky money for you on Chinese New Year’s Day”.

All I want is a Wacom (Graphire4 4X5) tablet, conveniently on sale at Best Buy for $69.99, marked down from retail value of $99.95. It’s cheaper than what I can get from Amazon.com and the sale lasts through this Saturday nationwide. I’ll be receiving it as a present from my dad on Saturday, when we pick it at from the store, hopefully without being crushed in the aisles or at the checkout counter.

I’ve personally spent over $50 on my Suzumiya Haruhi cosplay materials, $23 of which went into a taxi cab and effectively rendering me completely out of cash on person. I’m planning to sew the skirt during winter break with a friend and work on the sailor suit top when I get back to college.

Since I only have $80~ on my debit card, I’m going to resort to baking sugar cookies for everyone else. I’m saving up for a Nintendo DS Lite and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 after the game gets released, hopefully some time next year.
