It’s November… The days are getting colder in the northern hemisphere…and it’s the only time of the year when CollegeBoard offers the SAT Subject Test: Japanese with Listening. I took the test last year with limited success (740 out of 800).

Halloween 2006 at my college ended with the stage lights whrrrrrrrrrrring to the ground for a midnight viewing of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. Between the beginning of the costume dance party and the start of the movie, plenty of odd people showed up for surprisingly good music and a game of limbo that almost did my back in.
