Negima!? Magister Negi Magi Episode 1: “Huuuh? Even if You Suddenly Tell Me ‘31 People’!” by Negi

I’m tired. It’s finals week here for my first term of college, so I have to take a break from blogging anime and actually study for a few tests so that I don’t lose my scholarship (I’m kind of like an Ouran Haruhi scholarship student…though I’m not studying to become a lawyer). I’m flying back home (a 6-hour flight, at least) right after the finals end and it’ll take me a day to get over airsickness and all that fun. Yes, I’m a fragile otakuish geek. I might update with some screenshots throughout the rest of the this week, but I don’t think I’ll have the time or energy to write reviews of any quality. ^^;;

I applaud the display of better Engrish than the most I’ve seen from Japan.

After the First Week of 2006 Fall Season…

I’ve watched pretty much every show that I had a passionate or passing interest in, save for a few that I simply didn’t have the time to watch or Bartender, which is premiering on the 14th. Yes, I’m still planning to watch it to laugh at it.

Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion Blogging: Yes The mecha content wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. I’m sold on the CLAMP bishonen and crazy Geass power.

D.Gray-man Blogging: No This was too dark, simply put. If it had more sunshine like, say, FullMetal Alchemist, then I would’ve wanted to see another episode.

Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion Stage 1: The Day when the Devil was Born

Lelouch and Suzaku climb up a slope in time to hear odd droning from the cicadas. The sound isn’t just from the insects but from the invasion of the Holy Britannia Empire upon Japan, on August 10th, 2010. The Japanese army is unable to defend itself from Britannia’s advanced technology, which includes the automatic battle machines, Knightmare Frames. Japan loses the war and in turn, loses its rights, freedom, and name. Britannia renames Japan to Area 11. In the aftermath of the war, a young Lelouch vows to destroy Britannia.
